Why do I get an error when trying to log in?

Description

Since 11.02.26, our new DataKustik Customer Portal is available and offers you simple and centralized management of user profiles and company accounts. User accounts that existed prior to this date were only migrated for Cloud Licensing users, who then verified their email address until 11.03.26. All other user accounts could not be migrated, resulting in the following behavior:

  • If you try to log in with your credentials (username or email) known before 11.02.26, the message “Invalid username or password.” appears.
  • If you try to use the function “Forgot Password?”, the message “You should receive an email shortly with further instructions.” appears, but you do not receive an email.

Should this apply to your situation, it is very likely that the following solution will help.

Solution

In the new DataKustik Customer Portal, each user is assigned to a company. The first user of a company has to complete an Initial Registration. This user will get administrator rights and can invite other users afterward.

  • If neither you nor a user of your company have completed the initial registration, please proceed using the link above.
  • If a user of your company has already completed the initial registration, they can invite you.
  • If you are unsure whether the initial registration has already been completed by another user of your company, please complete it nevertheless, and we will initiate the next steps.

What is my customer number?

The customer number can have the following formats:

  • 5 digits, starting with a 2 (example: 23456)
  • 6 characters, starting with a country code (example: DE3456)

The customer number can be found here:

  • In the About dialog of CadnaA (from 2025 MR1), CadnaR (from 2025), and CadnaB (from 2025) when starting the software
  • On invoices or quotations from DataKustik

Where can I find the license number?

A license number starts with the letter L, S, or C followed by 5 digits and can be found here:

  • For hardware USB dongles, it is directly printed onto the dongle.
  • The license number is shown:
    • In the DataKustik Launcher
    • In the About dialog of CadnaA, CadnaR, and CadnaB when starting the software
